The accounting and business consulting firm of David B. Robinson, CPA, located in the Historic 1850s Ivymont Manor House in Midlothian, has announced that The Entrepreneurs’ Hour Radio Show will no longer be heard on a weekly basis. For now, the show will go dormant while Robinson considers options for its continuance.
“The Entrepreneurs’ Hour Radio Show” was Virginia’s oldest live weekly radio broadcast, having broadcast 280 live one-hour shows on various days of the week since June, 1998. It originated on WVNZ radio, later moved to WLEE and WHAP Radio and ultimately completed its four year run on WXGI.
“The Entrepreneurs’ Hour,” “The Entrepreneurs’ Hour Radio Show,” “Entrepreneurs’ Hour” and “David Robinson’s Entrepreneurs’ Hour Radio Show” all still remain registered servicemarks owned by the accounting and business consulting firm of David B. Robinson, CPA located at 14111 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, Virginia 23113 (804-378-5096). Those trademarks complement the Firm’s other trademark: “greatcpa.” David B. Robinson, CPA is the only CPA in Virginia authorized to refer to itself as a “greatcpa.” The radio show trademarks are intended to remain a part of the Firm’s identity and will form the basis for a future media endeavor.
“The Entrepreneurs’ Hour” was created in early 1998 by Cynthia and David Robinson and has broadcast live each week without interruption from June 1998 to August 2002. It was a live show that features studio guests, guest by telephone and remote broadcasts that showcased guests who were passionate and enthusiastic about what they did and what they created as a career or lifestyle for themselves. Themes that were of particular interest included small businesses, unusual businesses, the union of business and charities and the way high energy people, commonly referred to as “entrepreneurs” in today’s businessworld obtained “balance” between career, family and God.
