PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS IS RECOGNIZED IN "SUPER CPA" CONTEST IN
VIRGINIA BUSINESS MAGAZINE
Richmond (November 15, 2004) - Thousands of extraordinary certified public accountants (CPA) work in Virginia, but this year's "Super CPA" contest in Virginia Business magazine identifies more than 275 "best of the best" of the CPA profession. The Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) is pleased to announce VSCPA member David B. Robinson, CPA was selected a winner in the Small Business Consulting Category of the prestigious contest. In its fourth year, Virginia Business partnered with the VSCPA to develop this special program to highlight Virginia's top certified public accountants for their important contributions to the CPA profession and the prosperity of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Virginia Business sent an official ballot to more than 6,101 Virginia CPAs asking them to identify the names of peers they considered to be the best at their craft. After the ballots were counted, more than 275 winners were selected in 10 categories and are highlighted in a special "Super CPAs" report in the November 2004 issue of Virginia Business.
Upon receiving the award, Mr. Robinson stated that he was pleased once again to obtain the honor of being named a "Super CPA." Mr. Robinson said, "I received it in 2002 and am even more honored to receive it in 2004 because more CPAs seek to receive it as recognition that their industry has identified them as leaders in their respective fields. Only nineteen CPAs from the Richmond area were designated a 'Super CPA' in the Small Business Consulting Category."
The accounting and business consulting firm of David B. Robinson, CPA was founded in 1990 by David Robinson with five clients. The firm has over 1,350 now with four employees and is the largest accounting firm in Midlothian. Though headquartered in the Historic 1850s Ivymont Manor House in Midlothian, the firm has an additional satellite office in Petersburg.
