David Robinson is pleased to announce that Mr. Lenard W. Tuck, an attorney whose practice is headquartered in Mechanicsville, Virginia, will occupy the old “Bon Air Insurance Building” in Bon Air in the near future as an expansion of his law practice, Tuck & Associates, PLC. The building, an historic structure in the Old Bon Air Historic District, located at 2060 Buford Road, had been the location of a networking party for the accounting and business consulting firm of David B. Robinson, CPA on March 28, 2003. The building had been purchased in February 2003 by Mr. Robinson and was the subject of considerable attention and networking efforts from and with his clients, employees and associates.
“I’m very excited that Len has agreed to assist me in the stewardship of this historic building,” stated Mr. Robinson. “Len came to our little party, liked the building, and he and I have been talking ever since about it. He liked the building before I bought it and, fortunately, his interest was strong enough for us to do the hard work to hammer-out a mutually-beneficial arrangement,” Mr. Robinson continued.
Mr. Tuck and Mr. Robinson have entered into a long-term lease-purchase agreement concerning the building. While the terms of the agreement are confidential, it allows Mr. Tuck to renovate and restore the building into professional office space that will contain the offices of Mr. Tuck’s law practice. The agreement is flexible enough in that it allows Mr. Tuck to lease the building as a tenant while retaining an option to buy the building, if he so desires, under a formula that was contained in their agreement.
“I am pleased to expand my practice to a second office and have no plans to withdraw from Mechanicsville” said Mr. Tuck. “I am looking forward to opening in Bon Air in June and am certain that I will exercise the purchase option contained in the lease,” he continued; “David had a lot of creative energy towards that building and together he and I will have a synergy towards its restoration.
” The Law offices of Tuck & Associates, PLC are currently located at 7282 Hanover Green Drive in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Mr. Tuck graduated from the University of Richmond in 1979 and the T. C. Williams School of law at the University of Richmond in 1982 and has been a practicing attorney in the Richmond area since 1982. His specialties are real estate law, estate planning and business organization.
The accounting and business consulting firm of David B. Robinson, CPA was established in 1990. Mr. Robinson is a 1984 graduate of the University of Richmond. His practice is headquartered in the Historic 1850s Ivymont Manor House at 14111 Midlothian Turnpike in the Village of Midlothian. Mr. Robinson’s firm specializes in entrepreneurial consulting, advice to start-up business ventures and tax preparation.
